The Balle (District Head) of Igboola Village in Epe Area of Lagos State, High Chief Fasasi Kadri Oluwarotimi has cautioned Nigerians in general to stop blaming President Bola Hammed Tinubu for the present pains and hardship they are facing, but should rather hold their elected representatives at both local and federal level to task.
This message was delivered in a press interview with journalists after Eid-El-Kabir prayer in Epe, Lagos State on Sunday, June 16th, 2024.

High Chief Kadri Fasasi emphasized that the various elected representatives are far from the electorates and not delivering their constitutional responsibilities to the people that elected them into power. They are indeed lacking in upholding the tenets of democratic governance which include transparency and accountability.
They should rather be held accountable and not for everyone to be shouting the name of President Bola Hammed Tinubu.
“It is clear that people are crying of high cost of living among other general problems that the country is presently witnessing, My message for Nigerians in general is to make sure they channel their calls and agitation for good governance and improved economy to their elected representatives at both local, state and National Assembly and not only to the president.

“Our various elected representatives are far from the electorates and not delivering their constitutional responsibilities to the people that elected them into power. They are indeed lacking in upholding the tenets of democratic governance which include transparency and accountability.
“They should rather be held accountable and not for everyone to be shouting the name of President Bola Hammed Tinubu.”
“Our governor here in Lagos State, His Excellency, Governor Baba-jide Sanwo-Olu needs to be encouraged to work more. His present input is not enough in the area of general well-being.
