A lead mass based Human Rights organisation in Africa, Human Rights Monitoring Agenda (HURMA Global Resource initiative) has joined other global organisations in free service to humanity, to convey a condolence message to the government of United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the death of the president, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nathan, who reportedly died on Friday, May 13 at the age of 73 as announced by the UAE’s ministry of presidential affairs.

HURMA in a letter addressed to His Excellency, Dr. Fahad Al Yadda, the UAE ambassador to Nigeria at Abuja Federal Capital Territory and signed by both the Executive Director of HURMA, Comrade Buna Olaitan Isiak and the Chairman Board of Trustees, barrister Lekan Alabi, promise to increase in its selfless service to the poor masses and as well dedicate the honor to the deceased Sheik Khalifa who also lived his life in similarly objective.

“We hereby join other bodies of similar interest across the globe to express our condolence to the government of the UAE, Al Nahyan family, the Emiratei people among others, affected by the recent passing on of Sheikh Khalifa

“Our beloved Khalifa lived a life completely worthy of emulation in full service and dedication to not only people of his homeland and the Arab and Islamic nation, but well-being and service to humanity in general.
It is in the above spirit that we consider the late Khalifa as one of our leaders in service to humanity and therefore worthy of dedicating our recent service to his honour”

In a recent interview with African Narrators, HURMA Executive Director, Comrade Buna said the leadership of HURMA is pained by the exit of such a universal model, in person of Sheikh Khalifa.
“We are indeed pained by the exit of such a universal model. As decided at our leadership meeting, we won’t lower any flag. But to simply increase our flag in service to humanity, and this shall be dedicated to the honor of Sheik Khalifa”.

The Human Rights Monitoring Agenda (HURMA) in its letter of commensuration conclusively seeked Divine guidian for the present leadership of UAE and willingness to collaborate in future program of united interest.

“We pray Allah forgives his sin and admit him to Al-Janat and as well continue to guide our present leader in the right direction.
