I was indeed privileged to have a hold of this pathetic document and decided to reveal it before the end of the year so as to be free from whatever conscience guilt.
At a recent One-Day media training workshop
organized by Human and Environment Development Agenda (HEDA Resource Center) in Collaboration with Journalist for Democratic Rights (JODER) with support from Mac Arthur Foundation and centred around the theme: “TRAINING FOR JOURNALIST ON CORRUPTION COVERAGE IN NIGERIA”, one of the guest lecturers, Dr. Tunde Akanni, Lecturer in School of Communication at LASU encouraged us, Human Rights defenders and Anti-Corruption reporters, to always speak out if we truly want the country to change for better. This position was fully supported by both EFCC and ICPC representatives. It is therefore not only unpatriotic, but as well a sin to conceal the truth for any fear, from mere mortals and transient elements presently occupying our political space in Nigeria.
The document with me compiled at a recently held citizens forum, contains names of those in Nigerian Legislative Assemblies who might be killed any moment from now and top on the list was the Lagos State Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa among few others in Lagos and Ogun State.
Am sure many will not like this, for many reasons. Beyond the fact that truth is often bitter, there are two other major reasons for this.
Firstly, majority of our Legislators are mentally and spiritually wounded by the several stains from dirty wealth amassed and therefore don’t see death as a reality that could come at anytime.
Secondly, their hands are visibly dirty and they know they are doomed to account for the pains they have so far caused on the exploited poor masses.
Death is not something to fear if our hands and conscience are clean. Some of us are not even only not afraid of death but as well already longing for the goodies awaiting us (kindly see my recent poem titled: I Think I will Die Soon By Comrade Buna Olaitan Isiak)
The Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa who was atop the death lists had his matter however discussed recently and his name got completely removed. This was simply for a good move he made with his esteemed office, for the good of the poor masses.
To start with, let me explain in details, the death that is awaiting our supposed REPRESENTATIVES at the House of Assemblies.
The death may not necessarily be physical but political. Many of them are doomed politically and this will surely come to reality soon.
I feel more disappointed in both Lagos and Ogun State Legislative Arms when I got recent reports of their not only being carefree but as well anti-people in their laws and how they continuously steal the resources of the people for their selfish interest. These are Legislators who are supposed to be good samples for others nationwide, to emulate.
The Human Rights Monitoring Agenda (HURMA Global Resource Initiative), a mass based registered organization gather monthly reports from its units across the nation, from which we decide on the true state of the nation. These reports in the recent time, have not been people’s friendly, but one that call for a continuous struggle for liberation of the people from various entanglement of exploitation and oppression by the ruling class, despite the reality that our people in the left are not prepared for a genuine revolution.
Nigeria belongs to all of us and we must operate by the “Supremacy of the Constitution” as stated in Chapter 1, section one of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
On our elected cum selected Legislators, Chapter 2 of our Constitution speaks on Fundamental Obligation of Government under the title “Fundamental Objectives and Directive Principles of State Policy”.
Section 13 in chapter 2 says: “It shall be the duty and responsibility of all organs of government, and of all authorities and persons, exercising legislative, executive or judicial powers, to conform to, observe and apply the provisions of this Chapter of this Constitution”.
Section 14(1) says: The Federal Republic of Nigeria shall be a state base on the principles of democracy and social justice”.
14(2) say: “It is hereby accordingly declared that – Sovereignty belongs to the people of Nigeria, from whom government through the Constitution derives all its powers and authority “
Moreso, 14(2b) says: “the security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government..”
Also going by natural laws, it is clear that the curses raining daily on the legislatures by the suffering masses will surely come to pass because they are truly guilty as accused.
Almost everywhere nowadays has turned to a place to send curses to states political representatives, include the governor, in market places; Buses; religious centres and on the streets.
Because there is a natural bond between the Rulers and the Ruled, we cannot therefore think those daily curses will go without effect.
The natural laws of motion as analysed by Newton can summarily be presented as just three statements describing the relations between the forces acting on a body and the motion of the body, hence the necessity for the action of the masses cursing. This will establish natural actions on the electorates and without which the Exploiters action would continue in perpetuity.
Newton’s first law states that if a body is at rest or moving at a constant speed in a straight line, it will remain at rest or keep moving in a straight line at constant speed unless it is acted upon by a force. This postulate is known as the law of inertia.
In Aristotelian mechanics and in ordinary experience, objects that are not being pushed tend to come to rest.
The interconnectivity of this law on human political environment has been tested by past revolution in some countries of the world and semi-revolution in Nigeria and other African countries.
The general situation in our environment will remain same just as postulated by the first law of motion, until it is being challenged by the Ruled, exploited and oppressed members of our society, hence the necessity for the action of the masses cursing.
Newton’s second law: F = ma is a lesson proving immovable objects and unstoppable forces are one and the same.
Newton’s second law is a quantitative description of the changes that a force can produce on the motion of a body. It states that the time rate of change of the momentum of a body is equal in both magnitude and direction to the force imposed on it. The momentum of a body is equal to the product of its mass and its velocity.
A force applied to a body can change the magnitude of the momentum or its direction or both. Newton’s second law is one of the most important in all of physics. For a body whose mass m is constant, it can be written in the form F = ma, where F (force) and a (acceleration) are both vector quantities. If a body has a net force acting on it, it is accelerated in accordance with the equation. Conversely, if a body is not accelerated, there is no net force acting on it.
Applying this second law of motion to our political reality, it shows that the abnormalities in the conducts of our political representatives is as a result of the net force of spiritual negativity by the troubled masses.
Newton’s third law is the law of action and reaction.
Newton’s third law states that when two bodies interact, they apply forces to one another that are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.
The third force might have been responsible for removing the name of the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa. Who’s name was atop the dark list, but removed in a jiffy, just by the good news the masses heard about him.
I personally gave the report of his pro-people stance when the anti-people policy of arresting street traders and hawkers on Lagos street, was been treated in the Lagos Assembly.
This report was given to me by a member of Lagos Assembly. I learnt Obasa told them that “it is not possible to ban poor people from selling on the streets”.
I gave this report at the People’s Assembly where all units of HURMA submit their reports and the reaction of the people changed. Those that were constantly in the habits of abusing and sending curses stopped, reversed and began to pray for the Lagos Speaker, Obasa.
Initially, it was unbelievable that Nigerians could pray for a political representative of his status, with sincerity, though I have seen very few instances from some Constituencies. But the reality is simply that people who are worried and sad will only see the option of sending negative wishes to those that are know as the real cause of their miseries, just like natural action and reaction in law of motion.
Either the curses will come to pass or not will now be dependent upon whether the accused is actually guilty as charged. Nature will always balance the polarities.
I have always been advisers, though voluntary to many Public figures in the past and now also voted at the general Citizens’ Forum of Human Rights Monitoring Agenda (HURMA) to be a Senior Special Adviser to President Bola Hammed Tinubu. This is a task I agree to take as a volunteer.
It is part of my responsibilities to tell both Mr. President and others when people are not happy because many paid advisers around them may simply want to be telling what will be of interest to them.
The Nigerian masses are angry and have placed those in government on dark list waiting for every opportunity to end everything them.
Someone told me recently at our Central office “Comrade, our people are desiring that all these people in Lagos State House of Assembly should just die at once anytime they gather again for their selfish interest”. I just laughed and told him not to worry and that the Almighty God is watching and will judge everyone.
It is my general advice that people should stop sending curses to those in government. This is not because of those that are known to be friendly with our office, but because natural curse is already on them.
How can one imagine asking a poor citizen at a General Hospital to pay a bill that is more than average minimum wage of a civil servant, even if such patient is in a state of coma or requires general operation to raise him from death. What is the duty of government hospitals with Government’s trained staffs.
Some things should ordinarily be considered impossible, yet unimaginably happening in Lagos, Ogun and other states in Nigeria.
Members of Human Rights Monitoring Agenda HURMA recently commenced meeting with management of General Hospitals in Lagos to plead that they should stop turning people away simply because they are poor and cannot afford huge bill from those hospitals. Infact, we are requesting that poor and economically disadvantaged Patients should be attended to in our name and we will ensure we relate with their families to ensure payment within few months. This is because people cry to our office when they face huge bill at general hospital for that matter.
Our office is presently engaging in a voluntary public campaign for people to subscribe to the ongoing Ilera-Eko health insurance program simply because we are informed that the government of Lagos State cannot afford a complete free health service delivery to all.
No sane Government will be giving such excuses to poor masses while they themselves living big.
No one choses to fall sick. Many are just victims of environmental circumstances. Aside several pollution from different electrochemical industries, there are several health problems related to radiations due to our proximity with several telecommunications masts.
Some researchers have even linked these radiations to certain disease conditions like Alzheimer’s disease, brain cancers of various types, depression and even miscarriage. In the main, these problems can be said to be strongly associated with such radiation, yet our representative in government are making millions from these companies and at the same time want to leave the poor and helpless masses to bear the consequences.
Nigerians are annoyed with both Constitutional and Natural justifications. These grievances need urgent address by addressing the basic necessities. Total free health service must be available and accessible to all, especially the indigents. Unless this is urgently addressed, all known forces, material; metaphysical and spiritual forces are coming to harmony to urgently end the existence of all people’s enemies in both Executive and Legislative arms.
